AllTheJokes (“the app”) is published by Miniboss Studios Oy, operating as AllTheThings (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle. Contact: allthethingsencyclopedias@gmail.com.
What the app itself stores
- On your device only: your favourites, theme choice, whether punchlines are revealed straight away, the Pick Random preference, and whether you have removed ads. This never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
- The app requests no location, contacts, camera, microphone, or file permissions.
Advertising (free version) — Google AdMob
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To do this, Google may collect and process, on its own behalf, a device advertising identifier, IP address and coarse location derived from it, and device and usage information (device type, OS, ad interactions), to serve and measure ads and, if you consent, to personalise them. In the EU/EEA/UK the app shows a consent screen (Google’s UMP) before any personalised ads; you can choose non-personalised ads. Buying Remove ads stops the app requesting or showing ads.
Purchases — Google Play Billing & RevenueCat
If you buy “Remove ads”, the transaction is handled by Google Play Billing, and we use RevenueCat to validate the purchase and remember your entitlement. These services process purchase tokens and a Play-provided app-instance identifier; we never receive your card details or full payment information. See RevenueCat’s policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Children
The app includes a “Cheeky” category of innuendo and double-meaning humour intended for an adult audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Cheeky jokes are confined to their own category, so they can be avoided entirely using the category filter.
Your rights (GDPR / EU)
Because we hold no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side. For data processed by the third parties above, exercise your rights and manage consent through:
- your device’s advertising ID / “Ads” settings (reset or opt out of ad personalisation);
- the in-app consent screen (EU/EEA/UK), re-openable from Settings;
- Google and RevenueCat directly, per their policies linked above.
Data sharing & selling
We do not sell your data. We do not share data with anyone beyond the ad and payment providers strictly needed to run the free ads and the optional purchase.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be noted in the app’s store listing.
